Mixed Media Landscapes
This abstract series of painting and mixed media on paper represents emotional and physical landscapes from my personal experience and dreams. Torn paper, painted symbols, and found objects create graphic patterns and textures representing multicultural images.
The sizes of these textured pieces range from large horizontals, 52" x 36",
to the smallest piece, which is 22" x 21" framed.

Troll doll "hair" and lively colors and wires remind me of my Childhood, happy and bright
with faint religious undertones.

Stars as the Native Americans may have perceived them in symbolic form.

Blood and trash on the streets of New York City represent not just organized crime, but also white collar crime: New York Greed.
